Every part starts from a real problem on a real car, not from a catalogue of generic accessories. The workflow below is how we keep fitment, material choice and surface finish deliberate from first scan to final small-batch release.

01 Understand the problem

We start from the real part, the weak point, the missing OEM piece or the modification goal.

You send photos, a worn sample, rough measurements or a short description of what failed. We map the constraint: heat, flex, UV, stone chips, clip fatigue or just “this costs a fortune”.

If an OEM piece exists, we look at how it mounts, what it protects and what they charge to replace it. That decides whether we replicate, improve or walk away.

02 Model around fitment

Every edge, clip, radius and tolerance has to sit on the car, not just look tidy on screen.

Scan data or caliper measurements become clean parametric geometry, not stacked mesh booleans that fall apart when the material shrinks.

Draft angles, wall thickness and clip pockets are designed for the printer from day one, so the first print is a fitment test, not a surprise.

03 Prototype in material

Heat, vibration, stiffness and finish decide whether the part is printed, machined or mixed.

PETG and resin prototypes check geometry quickly. ABS, nylon or fibre-filled blends come in when the part lives near heat or load.

We check shrink, flex and finish on the car, not only on the bench, before we call a material good enough to sell.

04 Refine before release

The final piece should feel deliberate, not like an emergency workaround from a printer.

Edge radii, texture and colour are tuned so the part reads as intentional bodywork at arm’s length.

Small-batch release means we can still adjust geometry after field feedback without pretending the first version was perfect.
